M&A advisory for cloud services companies
Cloud services has been the most acquisitive sub-segment in IT services for nearly a decade. PE platforms have rolled up MSPs, MSSPs and cloud consultancies aggressively, hyperscaler-aligned operators with strong AWS, Azure or GCP credentials trade at premium multiples, and the global SIs continue to acquire to plug partner-tier gaps. Recurring managed services revenue can be two or three turns above pure project-based cloud migration work.
The large MSPs and MSSPs (Rackspace, Ensono, Presidio) acquire to add geographic and vertical reach, hyperscaler partner consolidators acquire for AWS, Azure and GCP partner-tier coverage, and PE roll-up platforms in the MSP space continue to build at pace. The global SIs sit alongside them, buying to plug capability gaps. Flow has direct relationships across all of those pools and runs processes that put strategic and sponsor buyers in competition.
Flow team has relevant sector experience and has worked with cloud services companies across managed services providers, MSSPs, cloud consultancies, hyperscaler partners, FinOps specialists, and DevOps and platform engineering shops.
