M&A advisory for ridesharing companies

Ridesharing M&A sits in the aftermath of global consolidation. Uber, Lyft, Bolt, Grab, DiDi and Ola absorbed most regional operators through successive funding cycles, and what remains is concentrated in specialist verticals - corporate mobility, intercity, fleet operators, EV and autonomous adjacencies - plus regional players that reached profitability. Driver classification rulings in the EU, UK and California sit alongside profitability as the central diligence questions.

The horizontal strategics are a short list - Uber, Lyft, Bolt, Grab, DiDi and Ola - and they acquire selectively on their own timing for regional and adjacent assets. Mobility OEMs are increasingly active in fleet and EV-adjacent deals, and a small set of mobility-specialist PE platforms covers the rest, with KKR, Apollo, Permira and Cinven all having underwritten mobility assets. Flow has direct access to corp-dev at the horizontal platforms, to mobility OEM venture and M&A teams, and to the PE platforms covering mobility.

Flow team has relevant sector experience and has worked with ridesharing companies across consumer ridehailing, corporate and intercity mobility, fleet operator platforms, driver and operator tooling and EV and autonomous adjacencies.
