M&A advisory for AI consulting companies

AI consulting has been one of the most active corners of IT services M&A, with global SIs, the Big Four and mid-market services platforms building AI delivery capability through acquisition. PE-backed consolidators have moved in parallel. Deals price on a blend of revenue multiple and EBITDA, with premiums for proven enterprise client lists, certified partnerships with the major model and cloud providers, and any meaningful share of productised revenue.

The acquirer universe is well-defined. Global SIs like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS and Wipro are buying AI delivery capability at pace; the Big Four - Deloitte, EY, PwC and KPMG - are acquiring to staff their AI advisory practices; mid-market IT services platforms are filling capability gaps; and PE-backed consolidators are running active roll-up strategies in the category. Flow has direct access to those buyers.

Flow team has relevant sector experience and has worked with AI consulting companies across enterprise AI transformation practices, model implementation and integration shops, MLOps specialists and applied data science teams.
