M&A advisory for automation & robotics companies
Robotics M&A has been steady through the cycle. Industrial automation majors have continued consolidating integrators, the warehouse and logistics automation wave produced a series of strategic and PE-led deals on the back of e-commerce, and surgical, agricultural and humanoid platforms have attracted renewed strategic attention. Buyers pay for installed base, recurring service revenue and qualified production rather than concept hardware.
The strategic buyer set spans ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa and Universal Robots on the industrial automation side, with Boston Dynamics (under Hyundai) and the automotive Tier 1s active around humanoid and mobility-adjacent platforms. PE-backed integrator and warehouse automation roll-ups have been consistent acquirers in the mid-market. Flow has direct relationships with corporate development at the named strategics and with the sponsor platforms most active in the category.
Flow team has relevant sector experience and has worked with automation and robotics companies across industrial and collaborative robotics, warehouse and logistics automation, robotics integrators and system houses, machine vision and end-of-arm tooling, and service and humanoid platforms.
