Fractional CFO services in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv anchors the world's third-largest startup ecosystem by output - 12,000 active startups, $12.2 billion raised by Israeli companies in 2024, and a unicorn conversion rate of 4.8% from seed (higher than the Bay Area).
The city's concentration of talent is unmatched outside the US: alumni of Unit 8200 and other elite intelligence units have founded or led Wiz, Sentinel One, Palo Alto Networks and dozens of second and third-generation cybersecurity companies, while Rothschild Boulevard and the Sarona district sit at the centre of a dense investor and co-working corridor.
We work with Tel Aviv-based startups from seed to Series B+, supporting them on cap table management, fundraise prep, financial modelling, equity/option grants, investor reporting and FP&A.

Tel Aviv startup ecosystem
Highest unicorn yield of any ecosystem globally
Tel Aviv produces more unicorns per seed-funded startup than any other city in the world - 4.8% of seed companies reach unicorn status, versus 3.6% in the Bay Area and 2.7% in Boston. Israel has 42 unicorns with a combined valuation exceeding $63 billion, and 83 new unicorns minted in the past five years. Wiz, Monday.com, Sentinel One, Wix, Gong and Lemonade are among the most recognisable.
Cybersecurity, AI and enterprise SaaS dominate deal flow
Cybersecurity accounts for the single largest slice of Israeli VC deal flow - a direct product of Unit 8200 alumni culture and decades of dual-use technology development. Enterprise software and AI are the next two largest verticals. Israel ranked 5th globally for VC raised in 2024 ($12.2 billion), behind only San Francisco, New York, London and Boston - despite a population of under 10 million.
Rothschild Boulevard, Sarona and Florentin
Rothschild Boulevard is Tel Aviv's startup spine - tree-lined and dense with VC offices, co-working spaces and early-stage company clusters. The Sarona Market district hosts a number of mid-stage tech companies and corporate innovation labs. Florentin, south of Rothschild, is where the younger, pre-seed scene concentrates. WeWork Aluf Kalman Magen and the Google Campus on Yitzhak Sadeh Street anchor the institutional infrastructure.
Military and university talent pipeline
Tel Aviv University, the Technion (Haifa), Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya) and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem feed engineering, computer science and life-sciences graduates into the city's startup machine. The Technion has produced more founders than any other non-US university. Critically, three to four years of mandatory military service - including elite units in intelligence, cyber and software - creates a secondary pipeline of technical operators with experience building mission-critical systems at scale.
Tel Aviv's active venture investors
Tel Aviv has one of the most concentrated local VC bases outside the US - multiple funds with deep sector expertise, active at every stage from pre-seed through growth. These are the investors most active in the city's venture-backed ecosystem.
Aleph
Aleph is one of Israel's most prominent early-stage VCs with $850M+ in assets under management. Founded in 2013, Aleph backs Israeli founders from seed through Series B across SaaS, fintech and AI. Portfolio includes Lemonade, HoneyBook, Melio and Windward.

Viola Ventures
Viola Ventures manages $1.3 billion across six funds and backs Israeli technology companies from Series A through growth. Core focus areas include fintech, cybersecurity and enterprise software. Part of the broader Viola Group, which spans growth equity and credit alongside early-stage VC.
Glilot Capital Partners
Glilot Capital specialises in cybersecurity and enterprise software, with a defined thesis built on backing Israeli founders with Unit 8200 and intelligence community backgrounds. Portfolio includes Axonius, Hunters (now Sysdig-acquired), Aqua Security and Island.
OurCrowd

Has deployed over $2.5 billion into 420+ Israeli and global startups, providing smaller rounds and angel-network access alongside traditional VC.
The Junction (F2 Venture Capital)
The Junction is Israel's most active pre-seed investment platform, operated by F2 Venture Capital. Backs founders from day zero with checks up to $4 million, guidance and a dense alumni network. Designed specifically for Israeli founders building globally from the outset.
